Good set for the price

Pros:Good kit for dismantling your mobile phone, or console , ipod , etc.I have used the T5 for opening a mobile phone with no problems. The quality is not very good, but it makes the job well.The plastic tools are very handy for opening your mobile without scratching it.

Cons:Maybe the construction quality? But I think for the price the quality is good. T5 and T6 screwdrivers seems to be slightly better quality than flat and philips screwdriver.

Other Thoughts:For the price is a very useful kit.

Bottomline:For the price the tools make their function and for me they are sufficient. But for more professional people, may be insufficient.

Pros:-Cheap enough;-2 green plastic face plate removers, won't damage(if you use it correctly) your phone;-2 blue plastic picks that hold the pressure on the faceplete uniformly, to avoid cracks on it;-2 Torx T5/T6 screwdrivers, used by most phones;

Cons:-Build quality is awful! Along with the flimsy green 'crowbars', my Torx T5 screwdriver came with a BENT TIP. Not DTW's fault, but this indicates that the QC of the manufacturer is low (what may be the major factor of the also low price). Everybody says that 'you get what you paid for', so this time I got that...-1 philips, commonly available (have plenty, but still may be worth as part of a kit);-1 flat screwdriver, useless to me, same as above.

Other Thoughts:If more Torx sizes screwdrivers were put on this, would be nice but here on DTW we have items on this kind of thought.And a slight increase on QC would correct that, but I guess I was the only unlucky.

Bottomline:It is still worth, I'd buy again just for the chance of getting the T5 right.BUY IT!!

Game Consoles Disassembly Tool 8 Pieces

Pros:Not a great price for the quality of the items, but than again to find these items you will be paying a lot more elsewhere.Very useful... have already used it on a few occasion. Item works as promised. Plastic was a bit cheaper in feel than expected, but hard enough to complete the task.

Cons:No pouch or box to carry it in.Mine came in bobble wrap. After taking the tools out, did not have something to store it in. Small con really. Just placed my in a sandwich bag for now.

Other Thoughts:Useful tool if you need it. I take a lot of things apart so this was very handy for me.

Bottomline:Buy it if you need it.

Best quality for the right price

Pros:If you have to open up a phone or game console like Nintendo Wii, Sony Playstation or Nintendo Gamecube. I have used it on my HTC phone and it worked like a charm! It is easy to use and you always have the right tool for the right job with this set!

Cons:It doesn't have the tools for the Nintendo DS or DS Lite. You need a separate screwdriver for that.

Other Thoughts:Perhaps it can be delivered in a handy pouch or cover because mine came in a plastic bag that isn't suitable to store it in.

Bottomline:Great price for great tools but it needs a pouch or cover!

Pros:It is good to have these plastic tools for opening plastic materials to avoid injurance on their surface.

Cons:It seems these are not high-quality products.One of the plastic tool came with cracked end and it seems there is too easy to crack them.

Other Thoughts:I haven't used the screwdrivers yet, but maybe it is good to have the torx ones to work with.I'm a bit disappointed on the plastic tools, especially with one's broken end.Although it's build quality is not the best, they can be used to work with.

Bottomline:Maybe others have more luck with it.Anyway, there is a better tool-set here in DTW.

Pros:Screwdrivers and Trox drivers are built well.The price is really low and the shipping was pretty quick.

Cons:Openers are poorly made and i couldn't even open my iphone cause they broke when trying. The green openers had a seem on them that was not cut/shaved well and was still visible, the blue plastic pieces were the same. There is really no need for the torx drivers because almost no phones use those.

Other Thoughts:Could find others for cheaper and built the same, or cheaper and better built.

Bottomline:Cheap price, but poorly made. Don't buy.

Pros:* you get quite a few tools here.* pretty standard screw driver and torx sizes for small electrical goods.* the items should last a good year or so before i would need to think about replacing them.* it doesnt take up a lot of space in your tool box.

Cons:* the screw drivers are not magnestised, which is a real let down.* it could come with a little suction cup for i-pod touch and the likes. also the screw driver for the nintendo is missing, as far as i can tell, i haven't repaired one of those, yet.

Bottomline:the pack you get contains tools that will cover most small electrical items that you could possibly face to fix.however, it is in no way professional, rather just a cheap set of tools for a simple repair here and there. i have already used some of the tools in this pack, they worked fine, just remember to be a little careful as the screw drivers arent magnestised.

Pros:Great little kit - useful for a whole variety of things - opening up games, phones, remotes etc etc.Build quality is OK, though one of my PCB unmount bars was broken on arrival.All the tools are small enough to fit easily in your pocket.

Cons:One PCB unmount bar arrived broken, not really bothered about that though.

Other Thoughts:would be nice if they came in a little pouch/pocket, but for the money I`m not suprised they don`t!!

And then there's the benefit of the free shipping. Shipping costs usually make importing things from other countries a pain.

Pros:Well, not only is it dirt cheep, but it really comes in handy when I take apart cellphones. This has to be one of the best products you can get on DTW!!!

Cons:Well the plastic pryer tools do slowly fall apart from use, but its soo cheap to get new tools, its not really a big deal. I wish this also came with the special drilled out torx tools, would be nice, but ohwell, still a great price for what you get!

Other Thoughts:Came in the DTW standard red wrapping, but who cares!

Pros:Price of these little tools is excellent. I keep a set in my purse for emergencies. This little set is very small and easy to transport with you anywhere.The plastic prying tools are awesome for changing plastic cell phone shell cases without damaging your case.These are great to have around for tightening glasses.

Pros:Great buy. Screwdrivers are decent, and decently built, especially when one considers the price. T5 and T6 screwdrivers are clearly labeled and comfortably designed.

Cons:There is nothing bad to say about this purchase. If you do one simple phone repair, it will pay for itself dozens of times over. I used mine to take apart my blackberry, in order to clean underneath the keyboard after I spilled soda onto my phone.

Other Thoughts:Be careful not to over tighten weak little screws like this. It's a lesson I've learned the hard way. Had to purchase a new housing because a screw broke off inside the original housing.
