Great idea, product always fails

Pros:Well this was clearly a good price for a bluetooth receiver

Cons:The product won't charge, same after replacement. Never got to use it. Built really cheap, that's probably it keeps failling.

Other Thoughts:Well I was really looking forward for that product. The first one stopped working while I was doing the initial charging. Received a replacement item, same problem.

Bottomline:I was never able to use the product and now looking at other more expensive alternative.

For it's price, great and functional

Pros:Very cheap bluetooth reciever. It works very well for me. Sound quality is not degraded (tested with Koss UR-40 headphones). Every control button is usable with Nokia 6650d. Also works well as handsfree. Very small proportions and very lightweight.

Cons:Short baterry life (cca 6 hours), cannot be charged when working - probably will be possible with special cable (not tested yet). Has no auto power-off functionality.Provided headphones and single headphone have very poor quality. For me also charger was useless (no usable in centreal Europe).

Other Thoughts:It would be very good if this reciever would have auto power-off functinality.

Bottomline:Don't wait for anything and buy it if you need cheap bluetooth reciever! I have bought 3 of them and all are working well.

Pros:Higher sound quality, does not distort ...It works perfectly for a distance of up to 10m of the unit ...the battery lasts about 4 hours of continuous use ...is very easy to use when you learn to use properly, read the manual carefully so as not to break his head.

High quality sound but problems after charge

Pros:Low cost, small with great sound quality. good battery life.I use it in my car - connect it to the aux connector of the car radio and - voila! - an A2DP enabled car!

Cons:hard to see the leds in the light.After charging - will not connect to my phone. II had to re-pait it. even then it would connect for a second and disconnect.very difficult to turn it on (need a long press of the button - but thee is no feedback from the LEDs as they are very difficult to see - the beep could meen it turned on or that it turned off...

Other Thoughts:why dont they hire someone who speeks english to write their manuals?!?

Cons:Terrible manual / small distortion at high sound frequencies / flashing leds can´t be seen on light areas like outdoors / now the worst... STOPPED WORKING BY THE END OF THE FIRST DAY OF USE... The device connects but the sound turned into a can of noises... most likely the amplifier died.

Bottomline:if it don´t stop working like mine it´s a good purchase

Pros:This is an excellent accessory for your cellphone that has an MP3 player. Small and very lightweight. Remote control to some cellphone functions. Doubles as a cellphone headset for calls. You can plug in most any headphone/ear buds or external speakers.

Cons:The translation of the instruction manual is poor. If you have never used Bluetooth devices, you may have a difficult time pairing this with your device. Unusual power connection.

Other Thoughts:I was looking for a bluetooth headset for my cellphone/MP3 player. I wanted the option to change the ear buds or headphones and have cellphone headphone features. When listening to music, you have Pause/play, volume up/down, and skip forward/backward buttons. When the cellphone rings, just press the center button to answer the call. Press the center button again to end the call and return to your music. The power charger connects through the earphone jack. I wish it used the standard miniUSB jack instead.

Bottomline:If you need an inexpensive MP3/Cellphone headset, it is well worth the money. Range is about 25-feet (8-meters). Telephone headset quality is as good as my standard bluetooth dedicated cellphone headset. Music quality is above average. All-in-all, well worth the money.

Great a2dp headset

Pros:- Easy to use- Sound quality is comparable to more expensive a2dp headsets- Built in battery, no struggling to change batteries- Works with any 3.5mm plug

Cons:- Manual is in some form of encrypted engrish that's probably best not read.- Headphones that come with adapter are useless....not much better than those dollar store headphones.

Other Thoughts:Setting up is simple. Hold down the big middle button until blue and red LED's flash, then pair with your device as normal. Default code is 0000.Before first use, charge the adapter for at least five hours.

Bottomline:Buy it if you want a cheap a2dp adapter that just works. I use it with my carputer and my cell phone, both work extremely well!

Cons:The build quality was ok, one the the latches holding the case together broke when I was taking it apart but that's probably my fault.-The price went down a couple of dollars. (since I bought it for the higher price.)-Ear buds that came with it aren't great but that was expected.

Pros:Use ANY standard 1/8th" (3.5mm) headphones as a bluetooth headset for you phone, iPod, whatever! Easy to use and ACTUALLY WORKS!

Cons:Doesn't support bluetooth mono sound, so if i play video shot on my phone you have to use the phone's built in speaker and not the headset

Other Thoughts:I have no idea if the headphones that come with the headset are worth anything or not, i never used them. I opened the box, plugged in my favorite set of earbuds and rocked out.

Bottomline:If you want cheap bluetooth stereo headphones without crappy sound, plug in your favorite headphones and you'll be in business!

Cons:The headset delivivered with the hansfree is garbage. Can't charge it while using it. On the other hand, why would you buy a bluetooth headset if you still have it to have wire yourself to a computer????????

Bottomline:Get a better pair of headphones than the pair delivered with the handsfree. Using handsfree with my original nokia headset making the sound BETTER than just plugging the headset into the phone.

Cons:- Cheap plastic build quality- Occasionally has a strange frequency-shifting effect when you're too far away from it- Need to set up the device again if you get out of range and it disconnects

I was pretty worried about what I'd be getting after reading the posts below about 30 minute battery life and poor/unsafe chargers, but I checked my charger (measured at a good 5.1v) and plugged it in and let it charge overnight, and managed to squeeze about 5 hours straight of music/gaming out of it. Setup was straightforward, though as noted I had to set up the device again when it got completely out of range (might not happen every time)

Bottomline:Great if you like using earbud heaphones or have a favorite pair you want to use but don't want to be tethered to your laptop/computer.

Cons:- only good sound-quality with my sennheiser phones, NOT with the included ones -> so use your own- battery lasts NOT as long as it is wirtten in the properties (may be between 2-3 hours with me)- silent noise when switched on and in standby (but disappereas by starting music playback)- music playback interrupts sometimes if the headset is shielded to much (this is not too bad; you won't realize all interruptions)

Cons:Battery time is very bad and lasts less then 1/4 of the supposed duration. Also, this device does not work while charging(so, it's even less useful because of the poor battery life), and the included headphones are bad

Bottomline:It is so much good for DIY projects. Buy one if you want to make your own wireless speakers, wireless HTPC an so on. Use your own headphones instead of the default ones for a better experience.

It will play music for no more then a hour and a half .. and same goes for calls .. ofc you could always buy 3-4 of those and just keep them in your pocket .. but hi .. why not buy one that actually has the working time it says on the cover...

For a project - wireless audio for HTPC

Pros:Got for a project for my little HTPC. Bluetooth audio is something I am fascinated with. This is cheap enough for me to play with and build that custom solution I cannot find for sale.

Cons:Not that many, range is about 20-25 feet. Battery is good for 2-2.5 hours in my experience. Wish these values would be bigger.

Other Thoughts:Tried with Broadcom and Toshiba stacks, paired nicely with both on each occasion. Never try with default MS stack, it is horrible, it pairs but no audio transfer. Download latest bluetooth stack for your chipset of the bluetooth sender unit for pc.

Bottomline:Unexpected problem is audio latency. 250ms-400ms negative, enough to notice. Thankfully classic MS media center can accept custom video-audio channel delay. Now I have to add 3.7V AC-DC Adapter to power this sucker from the socket, I'll cut the battery.

untangled headphones, low battery life

Pros:small ipod shuffle form factor. works well with my palm centro and palm treo 680,.. also tethers with my macbook. I use this device everyday, but I have to recharge it twice a day for my normal use. Comes with headphones and separate single earpiece. Works great with other headphones. The usb wall charger charges other devices like my palm centro, ds lite ect.

Cons:The buttons on the device are a bit strange, if you push the center button towards the edge, you might accidentally hit one of the other buttons (the same for all buttons). Poor battery life, if only using this for phone, I would say it ok but listening to music is not great. The headphones that come with this are horrible, but I dont like earbuds anyway, I have my sony dj style headphones plugged into this device.

Other Thoughts:This is a great device if you want to untangle your devices. I bought a cable wrap and wrapped my headphones almost all the way up and then plugged this in. Would be even better with headphones with one wire coming out of only one side.

Bottomline:Apart from the short battery life this is a great little device.

Pros:It is an A2DP unit for under $20, 'nuff said. Great value, all buttons (volume up/down, play/pause/talk, ff/rw) work as expected, no disappointments from the functionality of the unit.

Cons:The microphone location is actually on the unit, so if you do get a call you have to hold the clip up to your mouth and talk. The clip is cheap, and the spring shot off a few times while I was walking. The included earphones are garbage, spring for a nice pair and this thing works great.

Other Thoughts:The microphone will pick up any wind or ambient noise, so don't get this if you are planning on talking to people while walking to class with this bad boy.

Bottomline:Best if used for the A2DP stereo bluetooth function, better if it had a solid clip.

Pros:It's light and discret, plays a very nice sound.Worked out-of-the-box with my Sony-Ericsson K850i.In open fields, the operation range is very good.

Cons:The + (plus) button doesn't work very well (I needed to press it harder to get it work).The battery lasts less than specified (about 3 hours listening audio at max volume).It's a bit quiet when used with a car audio system.The upper and lower adhesives are not very well glued.There's a little noise when it's on (like the ones of cassette tapes).

Pros:It's perfect to use with your Nokia N95 through or your PC. It's take advantage of the A2DP protocol, and you have full quality of the sound without hiss caused by hardware (it's digital audio!). Perfect to use with your Koss Portapro or Koss The Plug headphones. Stereo, 48000 and 16Bit samples are been accepted (and bellow also). The controls works!

Cons:The bundled earphone don't have a good sound quality but you can take it out and use any 3.55mm earphone.

Cons:Could not use the mic with the iPod Touch.Could not advance/go back tracks in iPod either.

Other Thoughts:The bundled earphone quality is poor; built cheap, and the cord is too short (but it's ok if you're going to hang it close to your neck)

Bottomline:I wasn't able to pair my Plantronics Explorer 640e with both iPod and Iphone. This little thing managed to do it, in 2 steps. So, the supported protocols are better than my expensive Plantronics.

Pros:There's not much to this device (only a couple of buttons) but the instructions are clear and concise. Easy to use and the sound quality is great - I sync up with my mobile phone and take to the gym with me. The BT range is very good as well.

Cons:The first one I ordered would not take a charge, but I contacted DTW and they shipped another one out without any problems at all. I have since pulled the dead one apart to see it the battery could be replaced, and it looks pretty simple - read the forums below for further details.

Pros:This little bluetooth headset is really cool and very light weight. It can be easily paired with my computer and nokia 5530. The sound quality is really good with Koss PortaPro headphones. However, with other headphones I have like Sennheiser HD555, this small receiver seems to lack of power a little bit. But.. What's more for this cool price?? Thanks a lot DTW for letting me get a good stuff again.

Pros:As expected. Small, great sound quality and low price.The ability to attach alternate earplugs is great.

Cons:Supplied stereo earplugs died within two days, the mono earplugs has very low volume levels and is not the best.Battery holds for about 3-5 hours use, no more, which is somewhat disappointing considering the device's size.The earplugs are supplied with a small module to attach the long wire to the blouse (crocodile-shaped) but it is not very useful as the earplugs cable is not attached to it, but pressed by it along with the blouse.

You can just send a music stream via bluetooth to this little thing and it will play an enjoyable quality music without wires. Cons:-Travel charger is for USA, but supports 250v, so with adapter could be used in Euro mains.-Earphones / Headset included have low sound volume and quality. Buy some quality ones and you will enjoy immensely more.

Pros:Works (mostly) fine with iPhone 3GS. Streaming audio, phone calls- everything worked fine. Mic adequate- no complaints from the people I spoke with.Decent sound quality, decent battery life (5+hours of streaming audio with a couple of short calls).(note- AC charger requires 110v minimum- if you live in, for example, Japan, the included AC charger will not work, but you CAN charge via USB or via AC/USB charger, like the one bundled with the iPhone)DTW Customer Service was great- The first unit I received had a defective battery, and wouldn't take a charge. DTW promptly replaced unit with a functional one at no charge.

Cons:Pairing is a bit tricky- and occasionally needs to be re-synced from time to time.Included headphones should be discarded immediately- a complete waste of plastic. Plastic buttons are shiny and slippery, which makes controlling the volume difficult since your fingers will slip off the button while pressing. Also, track forward and backward buttons do not work with iPhone 3GS- only play/pause, and volume up/down are functional.

Pros:It is a very useful product. I tested with my LG and Sony Ericsson mobile phone and it works perfectly. I use this phone to listen music inside of my helmet and it is perfect, but the headphone should be smaller for this application. Its building quality can be better.

Cons:The support that holds the product in a belt or some like these is so weak. This support was broken in the first week.You never know when this product was completely charged.

Pros:-It is very small.-Very easy to "clip on" on you.-The build quality is really better than I expected, it really looks like a much more expensive product. Made of a very good shiny black plastic.

Cons:As said by other users here, the plug used for the earphone is the same used for recharging. That is not actually a problem, it is just that it might be better if it was a usb mini conector, so one might use with existing cables on the pc.The package it comes in is bigger than it should be. A problem specially if you don't want it to be too noticeable by your contry's customs. (Cuidado brasileiros!!)

Pros:Battery outlasts my phone when playing back (Nokia 5200), Controls are very responsive. Doesn't feel too cheaply manufactured. Independent volume control is louder* than my phone as well

Cons:*with some noticeable distortion at peak levels.Reception can be stopped easily by blocking the path from the device to it's pair (through body for example) and while not an issue with this unit, just a heads up.

Other Thoughts:My phone makes an annoying Out of service tone that cannot be turned off and transmits through this while in a subway system.. kinda annoying but otherwise dismissible.

Pros:the module is very easy to use, it connects instantly to most hardware (both my home pc and my mobile were easy to connect) and it seems to keep the charge for quite long.

Cons:three of the five buttons on the receiver don't work!They didn't work from the start, the only buttons that work are the central one (play/pause, on/off) and the "-" volume down button.

Other Thoughts:For me, it was essentially a waste of money (as it would be for almost anyone, since shipment cost to have it repaired surpass the value of the item).It must have been a factory problem, because the parcel was perfect and delivery speedy.

Bottomline:I would go for a better quality item, that at least does not break down before it reaches your doorstep.

Pros:Love it, exactly what i was after. Easy to use and setup, controls are pretty much like an ipod shuffle and similar size too.Simple control layout with bluetooth button in the middle, track fwd/rwd and volume up/down around the outside.The headphones it comes with aren't great but that's to be expected at this great price. The beauty of these is you can plug in any headphones you want into the 3.5mm standard jack.

Cons:Only con would be the supplied headphones aren't great but for the price you can't expect that and you can use any headphones you want so it's worth it just for the receiver at this price!!!

Pros:It comes in a very atractive package, and everything is included. On my windows 7 installation, this device was driverless. It paired up and just worked, no nonsence.

Cons:The included headsets are a bit cheap and low volume, but I was already expecting that.The wallsocket charger it comes with is a US prong one, and no prong adapter is included. Some might find this a problem, but the USB cable works fine for most.

Other Thoughts:It registers with 2 services, microphone headset and high def audio device. Make sure you select the right one, or youll end up with phone quality audio on your music because its using one channel for its microphone!

Bottomline:It charged in 2 hours and lasted me all day listening to music on my PC. What more do you need? ;)

Pros:Cheapest stereo A2DP headset i could find. Works fine with my Nokia E71 and my laptop.Good quality audio when used in combination with a good headset as the included headset is very low quality.

Cons:Build a little cheap but for this price who's complaining ;-)Mine didn't come with an USB charging cable just an ac adapter for which i need a European adapter also. Both should have been included.The included headset lacks any bass, iu use my Creative and Shharp in-ears for very nice quality audio.

Pros:This is a really cool little device. You can't go wrong with this price. You can use it with your phone, ipod or thru your car stereo if you have an MP3 jack. I love using it thru my car stereo for handsfree while i'm driving. Just make sure you turn the volume up a little on the device or the mike is kind of weak. It's a basic, but does what it'supposed to. The volume is loud, I use it on the lowest setting when listening to music.

Pros:-Battery life was better than expected, it lasted about 4hrs 15mins playing on max volume. (contains 130mAh battery)-The receiver is nice and small perfect for my needs.-The mic was ok quality from what my friend told me on the receiving end. He rated it about 7/10 for sound.-Sound quality for music is very good.

Cons:-The build quality was ok, one the the latches holding the case together broke when I was taking it apart but that's probably my fault.-The price went down a couple of dollars. (since I bought it for the higher price.)-Ear buds that came with it aren't great but that was expected.

I basically stuffed this into a pair of headphones and solder the connections right onto the circuit and made another hole on the headphones and epoxied a headphone jack there so I have the option to use a wired connection if the batteries die. This is the 3rd generation model lol. First one had a lot of tape, second one was for a friend when got crushed in his bag. Previous two used different receivers.

Cons:Headphones were rubbish. One set was falling apart, the other set wasn't even put together properly. I threw them out and used the ones from my shuffle. The USB charger is also pretty crappy, but it works just fine.

Other Thoughts:On my HTC Touch WM 6.1 phone, it will pair as a BT 2.0 device, but if i shut it off and have my phone rediscover it, it shows up as a BT 1.1. Apparently this is a common problem, but there is a solution for WM users. Pros:Small, light and easy to use. was happy that the cables for the earphones were not too long, hate those long cables that dangle everywhere and get caught on every little thing, especially when taking the MRT (subway) and its crowded.Everything can be controlled from the bluetooth set, changing tracks, volme control and answering calls too. Just a click of the button and you're there.Have not had a problem with the mike but so far have only tested it in the office where its relatively quiet so we'll have to wait and see.For the price, it cannot be beat, have seen similar products selling for Singapore $99.00 locally and this is about the same.

Cons:Build is pretty bad which is why i only gave it 2 stars, i took off the earpieces and let them dangle and the whole thing fell apart. The white strips on the side are simply stickers that hold everything together, so i put it back together and taped the front and back joins with scotch tape and its great now. No big deal.Not sure if it is just my particular set but there isnt any indication of charging, i plugged it in and charged via USB but there is no red light to show that it is charging unless i press the centre button but again, no big deal as i will charge when i get home and again when i reach the office cos i dont need it while at work, just while commuting.

Other Thoughts:Great stuff for the price.Double clicking the centre button will do a last number re-call i.e. calls the last number that you dialled.

Pros:Coupling with windows vista laptop is easy, even though the documentation is quite bad. You can listen to your favorite music with no cables.

Cons:I was not able to make it work with skype. Windows detects it as a hands-free device, but when chosen no sound is heard neither voice is recorded.Wireless is fine, but only for a distance up to 2-3 meters.

Bottomline:It is cheap. You can use it at your desk avoiding cables. Fine as headphone, but I could not use it as a hands-free device.

Pros:Pairs with cellphones very easily with the option to use as headset AND/OR stereo headphones. I really like this feature as I am not a fan of use cellphone headsets.Pairs with Windows XP and am able to control volume and change tracks. Looks almost identical to 2g Ipod Shuffle.

Cons:The clip on mine broke almost instantly out of the box, my roommates is fine though.In order to control the music in XP with external speakers plugged in requires you to re-pair it everytime you plug in the speakers other wise the sound just goes to headset. Pros:- Works perfectly with my Nokia N73- Battery lasts much more than I expected. So far, i only charged once (initial charge) and used for more than 5 hours listening music and making calls and no need to charge so far.- Nice bt range, more than 10mts! wow!

Cons:- Back clip broke in the very first day, be careful! Very cheap and fragile plastic.- Charger seems a bit confusing because It didn't really indicated when battery was full or not (at least for my first and only one charge so far).- Sound quality is not the best. There is a significant quality loss due to compression, but it's still nice.

Cons:Range is limited, the power adapter that came with it wouldnt charge the unit. Had to use the USB connection on my p.c. to start charging. Also somehow the usb/charger got real hot and melted the wiring. Used another usb connection and it didnt happen again.(not sure why)

Other Thoughts:the headsets that came with it wasnt desirable, used my own headset to plug into the clip, worked out great.

Pros:It's very small and slim. The plastic case is very easy to open and inside it only a small 3.7V battery and a circuit board. The board is very easy to understand and make this device perfect to attach to electronic projects. The sound is very loud and clear.

Cons:The signal range is very short, as it's battery's life. But it's not a problem for me, because i'm using it attached in my motorcycle helmet and my cell phone is always close.

Other Thoughts:I'm using it in a Motorcycle helmet to answer calls and listen to music. Because it's circuit board is very small and slim, it fits very well inside the front side of helmet. I've just soldered an USB plug to recharge it and a external button to answer and end calls.

Pros:Awesome little gadget that's able to stand up to all the expensive versions out there on the market. It's bluetooth--how can you not love it?

Cons:Can sometimes loose connection and sound fades in and out, so it's a bit finicky and needs quite a bit of adjustment. Nothing you can't get used to though.

Other Thoughts:Difference in colours would be nice, having a standard style sometimes conflicts with people with a need to accessorize their gadgets.

Pros:It does what it claims to do - no idle boast as so many items at the low end of the price market just do not.With my own earphones the sound quality is excellent, but there is a distinct background noise when no music or speech is present.The supplied mains adapter is US only but the USB plug will work with any computer to charge up.

Cons:Battery life is far less than that stated but the charging time for the battery is only about three hours. Build quality is OK but don't sit on it or expect the clip to be too robust

Pros:Great price.You can use any headphones you want for bluetooth audio, I couldn't find anything like this for sale elsewhere other than eBay.

Cons:- Build quality isn't the greatest. I found the quality of the black one to be higher than that of the white one though.- Battery life is only approximately 5 hours, not 10.- Sound quality could be better. There is noticeable noise when there is silence in the song.- On my phone if the headset service is enabled along with the wireless stereo service the audio stops for a second and a beep is heard from the device. Pretty annoying.- Does not support multiple bluetooth channels so you can't pair with more than one device at a time (I wanted to pair both my phone and laptop for audio), but this isn't expected for the price.

Pros:This is by far the BEST Bluetooth headset I've used!! DE knows how many I've already bought from them not to mention other off-the-shelf ones I've used. I can safely estimate having used no less than 20 and this is the best in sound reproduction. I played mp3 songs from my nokia e51 and high-bass dance music has good depth and breath with the supplied earphone. It was such a surprise! Next I switched to my high-end headphones and it was a BLAST! How can such a small thing reproduce the sound so well? All my previous bluetooth headsets does not even come close!

Cons:This can only be paired to one phone and does not play non-3G iPhone sounds via Bluetooth.

Other Thoughts:Have you watch the clip one user loaded? Cons:Everything is OK. I haven't test supplied earphones yet but it seems good.

Other Thoughts:Most of the trouble I've had while using this device come from Ubuntu's still limited integration of A2DP Bluetooth Audio. But with work, I've been able to get bluetooth audio in xine, mplayer, and rhythmbox.

Bottomline:Listening to DVD and MP3 audio without being tethered to the laptop (or disturbing someone else) is great. Since you can plug in any headphones, you can keep using the ones you like (unlike with integrated bluetooth headphones)

Bottomline:Buy it for stereo sound on your p168+. The headphones provided with the phone does not produce stereo sounds. Modifying the adapter to 3.5mm also does not produce stereo sound.

Pros:-The price! come on, 25 bucks for this is amazing!-Audio quality is very good. Noticable difference compared to wires, but still very good.-Easy to use, no secret button combinations for pairing etc like other devices I've seen. -Very tiny-Build quality is sturdy, doesnt "look chinese"

Pros:Great headset at great price. Costs a mere fifth of swedish comparable prices. Good rangeGood sound with supplied headphonesMicrophone is surprisingly good

Cons:Does not work well with InEar-headphones. The sound is like listening inside a small box.

Bottomline:In total really good value for money and perfect for calls. Maybe not the best for music, but works ok.

Pros:Easy to set up, battery life good, audio quality good, build is good too.Microphone and noise cancelling work well.Range as stated.

Cons:Headphones supplied are a bit "lifeless"

Other Thoughts:I use this to route audio from a CECT-M8600 to my car stereo through the Aux/MP3 input. Volume a little low but quality fine. Thrown in the centre console, the mic is good enough to pick up my voice clearly at 70mph in a diesel car ( as good as my $140 unit).Used in the house range drops to 6m with a brick wall in between.Good value

Bottomline:Very cheap for how good it is. Hook it up to some $2 plug in mini speakers and you have quality hands free for very little money.

Pros:Sound quality is great. It is lightweight and was easy enough to set up with both my Verizon voyager and my girlfriends samsung Juke. Now I have to buy one for her. :)

Pros:Relatively small, clips on to clothes, has a built in mic, can be charged by USB or outlet. Also comes with one and two-bud earphones. Sound quality is decent.

Cons:Took a little while to set up. The clip itself is plastic and can break easily.

Other Thoughts:Haven't tried the microphone function.

Bottomline:It does the job.
