| Pros:The reel is well built and very nice,I was impressed. The little keychain reel is nice as well. | |
| Cons:The Rod is nice but very thin and i'm not sure about what kind of weight it will handle. The color,,,It's not as nice as maybe black, blue or red would have been. | |
| Other Thoughts:I love fishing and gadgets so it was a must have and my wife fell in love with the keychain so it's hers now. Good gift for the fisherman who has it all. | |
| Bottomline:Even with the rod not being as strong as it could have been and the color just ugly I think this would be a great gift for any fisherman. | |
Cool conversation piece at the lakeside. |

| Pros:The entire set fits quite nicely into the glowe compartment of any car, which means you can fish just about anywhere. The reel is solid, and looks well-machined, if somewhat simple. The keychain reel, while completely useless is cool, and is a must-have for any serious sports-fisherman. Maybe sell them separately? ;-) | |
| Cons:The eyelets you thread the line trough are too small. There's a lot of space inside te cap, so why not make them large enough to slip a swivel-fastener through? As it is, you need to cut the line when packing up.Also, the reel doesn't have a 'free' mode for casting. | |
| Other Thoughts:If you loosen the brake, and set the directional control to centre, it's possible to cast with this rod and reel, but you'll need a 25 - 30grams weight on the line to do it.(I wouldn't use anything bigger than a 8gram hook/lure, so the rest must be made up for with a lead weight. Attatch the weight at the end, and the hook a good foot or so higher up, with an extra piece of line.)Also, I reccommend taking a set of pliers and gently bend the eyelet at the tip of the rod. With a greater angle it may work better for casting, as the line will run more freely without rubbing the metal casing on the tip. | |
| Bottomline:Very nice looking fishing rod, and is bound to make you the centre of attention when you unpack it at your favorite fishing spot.Of course, they may laugh a bit when the limitations are revealed, but after that, they'll probably approach you one at a time when they think no one else is looking, and ask where you got it... | |
pretty cool, but no the best. |

| Pros:- Looks cool.- Reel is built pretty good.- Takes up very little space.- Nice extra keychain flyfishing reel. | |
| Cons:- Rod is not so well built.- Reel doesnt lock properly with rod.(still works though.)- Havent figured out how to free the reel for throwing yet(maybe this cant be done? If so that would narrow its useability quite a bit.) | |
| Other Thoughts:none | |
| Bottomline:Cool little rod'n reel. Rod lacks a bit in build quality, the reel is built pretty good though. If anyone have info about how to (If its even possible?) free the reel for throwing, please tell=) | |
