| Pros:It works just as described. I got my guitar tuned exactly right for the first time It also works with other instruments (harmonica, kazoo and singing tried) It comes with a extra mic and a hearing aid;)You can use any 6.3mm male microphone jack (to connect your mic), if you want to tune your voice | |
| Cons:The software is not the best possible, but it works. The build quality looks good but does'nt feel that sturdy. | |
| Other Thoughts:The metronome function on this seems pretty good (lots of options) | |
| Bottomline:If you need to get your instrument tuned, and you don't know the key note etc. -this is just for you.It does'nt cost much but it helps enormously to get your instrument correctly tuned.RECOMMENDED | |

| Pros:--- Compact design (can carry everywere)--- Loud metronome--- Batteries powered (no need for an outlet)--- Good/intuitive interface | |
| Cons:--- A little more expensive than average dealtoworlde item | |
| Other Thoughts:Very useful tool, specially for practicing/studying. I use it to practice guitar lessons, which I have to keep the pace. Also, I can check whether I'm playing faster or not. Before buying this product, I'd have to turn my computer on and practice in front of it (metronome software). Now I can practice anywhere, due to its compact/portable design. | |
| Bottomline:Very good product. I use for playing the guitar, but can be used by a variety of musical instruments. | |

| Pros:It's very easy to tune with this tuner. Just preset the key you're in, play the note, and it will show you whether you need to tune towards a sharp or a flat. It is very accurate, and can be tuned with the use of it's mic, or through vibrations. The included metronome is okay at best, it's quite hard to hear the bell. It shows you the tempo you're playing at (allegro, andante, etc) and what beat you're playing. | |
| Cons:The metronome doesn't have a great bell sound. | |
| Other Thoughts:It may be cheap, but is built quite well. | |
| Bottomline:Cherub makes great tuners. Buy this if you're looking for a tuner. | |

| Pros:Tuner and metronome, works as expected.plays a tuning note to help you tune, has selecteable beat settings, and speed settings.automatically detects notes played.Comes with it's own little pick up mike. Can select different instrument types (e.g. Eb for my alto saxohpone) | |
| Cons:It doesn't tell you exactly how far out of pith you are - it has an analogue scale with +50 and -50.The tuning meter doesn't stay put for too long, making it a bit hard to tune. When in normal mode playing an F# on the saxophone had some trouble displaying. after changing to # mode it displayed ok. | |
| Other Thoughts:This is ok, but for a bit more money you could probably get a more suited tuner for the saxophone. This tuner would probably work better with a guitar. | |
| Bottomline:If you need a metronome and a tuner in one and price is a huge issue, then get it!Otherwise a dedicated tuner would probably do a better job for sax! | |
