| Pros:This is a direct replacement bulb for 7440 light bulb, it will use a lot less power to light up than your normal light bulb and it should last a lot longer than your normal bulb. | |
| Cons:For high mount stop light, you will need to add a reflector to the light unit in order to have the light to be seen from the outside because of how it install into your car. Also because it not puting out red light therefore it not as bright as the normal bulb and the colour will be kind of orange-red when you see it after the red filter. | |
| Other Thoughts:Too bad DTW do not have a red version for this bulb, because it will be brighter after the red filter and have a red output so it'll fit the high mount stop light. | |
| Bottomline:Get it if you don't use it after a red filter and the bulb will be faceing the opening after it been install onto your car. | |
