| Pros:Stand can be tilted up or down to compensate for the slope of a surface.Does indicate inclination | |
| Cons:Indicator doesn't have any sort of damping (eg liquid) so it bounces while in motion.Can't adjust the stand or the bezel to compensate for roll.Has a small amount of friction, sticks just a little sometimes. | |
| Other Thoughts:Had a try at using this to read the planing angle of a boat, but the reading isn't really precise enough for the smaller angles involved. | |
