Overall Rating:
Pros:- decent/ solid build quality- good sound quality- easy to use- works as expected
Cons:- not 'amazing astonishing' build quality, but what do you expect for this price ?!
Other Thoughts:bought this well over a year ago. have used it numerous times; I just leave it in the car and haul it out when we need it. Easy enough to use that a non-technical user can plug it in and make it work with no significant effort or difficulty.
Bottomline:I've owned 2 other FM transmitter gadgets; one was priced similar to this and simply didn't work; the other was priced far higher and worked equally well (had slightly nicer build quality, but was ~4-6x the cost).Certainly if you need a transmitter like this, it works well.Prices on these things have dropped a lot in the last ~year-or-so through regular retial channels, but this is still a great value and a good item.

Another great buy

Pros:Amazing price.Cant be beat...Kmart Target they wanted me to pay atleast 5 times more than that!!works well, little effort required
Cons:-Quality - for 7 dollars, you cant expect it to be made of the best polymers.i found a problem with the wire being loose, i advise careful use of the item
Other Thoughts:the buttons are a little too stiff for my likeness
Bottomline:If you want to listen to an audio device over the radioand dont want to be charged rediculusly high prices. this is deffinatly the buy your after

pretty fantastic

Pros:-amazingly good range. the furthest ive tested is about 100 feet, and it sounds just as great there as if it was touching the stereo.-less then 8 bucks-battery, usb, or car adapter powered-easy to use-backlight is cool-has a thermometer for no reason. not sure if thats a benefit but it has one.
Cons:slight electrical whine during silence, although some of that may just be my speakers anyway.build quality does seem kinda cheap but everything works totally fine anyway.
Other Thoughts:i like to power it with the usb port when im at home, but im not sure what it draws power from if it has both batteries and usb power plugged in. havent had it long enough to test if my batteries are drained while its on usb.i recommend getting an extension cable such as SKU 23190 because the input cord as rather short. plus every cable you plug in seems to work as an antenna, boosting the range.
Bottomline:its pretty great. great transmitter if you need one.And use the highest open frequency available.

Good sound for small transmitter

Pros:small FM transmitter which I use in my car. My previous transmitter was one that had to be mounted in the cigaret holder. This is easier to use. The sound quality surprised me positively.
Cons:cable of the 3,5 mm jack is short. You probably have to use a extender or something like that. The power doesn't switch off automatically so when I forget to do this, my battery is dead after a couple of days.
Other Thoughts:I use it with the SKU 01043 windshield mount
Bottomline:the price is great for this device and I would recommend it for simple use in your car.

You get what you pay for

Pros:- The device works like advertised- Clear signal on any frequency, even when a radio signal is very clear on the frequency- Ideal equipment for in your car. The charger keeps it there.- Memory for 10 frequencies is great, quick changing between radio stations to annoy your friends ;o)
Cons:- The build quality is low as my buttons started hanging when pressed (had to jiggle them a bit to pry them loose)- No manual, luckily I was able to find out all functions by myself
Other Thoughts:A great product to:1: annoy friends by putting up "ring ring ring BANANA PHONE" on their radio2: listening to MP3 player music in your car if your radio does not have an aux connection
Bottomline:You get what you pay for. If they were to make this more expensive they should start by fixing the build quality and maybe boosting the signal a bit.
