| Pros:They are very cheap and small and can be a nice gift for your colleagues. They apparently point to the right direction when are not under magnetic fields. | |
| Cons:Under very poor magnetic fields they point to the wrong direction.Inside my house, if it's near to an AC line (2m or less) or even an AAA battery, it can point to the wrong direction.I though I could use them to point some antennas, but it can be a hard task. I recommend buying a bigger one. | |
| Bottomline:Can be a good compass to use in the wild but not indoor. | |
3/5 worked. |

| Pros:Handy and smallGood backup compassGood to stick in a survival kit (pry out the compass to save even more space) | |
| Cons:Only 3 of 5 of mine pointed NorthMine were not liquid filled like others have reported. | |
| Other Thoughts:Disregard: This is filler for the 500 character thing.... how much can I really say about the workings of a compass?Disregard: This is filler for the 500 character thing.... how much can I really say about the workings of a compass? | |
| Bottomline:Check that your compass works before using it, and if it doesn't, throw it out so you don't get confused. Use these as backup compasses only! | |

| Pros:- Small and light- All point to the correct direction- Fit nicely to my watch strap; you can fit one to each of your watch- Liquid filled | |
| Cons:- Small air bubbles are normal but some are not. With the five compasses I received:1 has tiny bubble2 has small bubble1 has medium bubble1 has large bubble- May not be so reliable | |
| Other Thoughts:You may need to shake the compass until the air bubble rises up to the top so that the disk inside will be able to turn. If you receive one that points to the wrong direction, you can easily change the polarity by using one of those strong magnets from DTW with just 1 stroke. | |
| Bottomline:Get these as they will come useful when you go to the forest or camping. Attach it to your watch strap and it will never get lost. | |
Useful but not all of the five work. |

| Pros:Cheap.Better value than indivually.Small and convenient to use.Great as give-aways for camps or for the kids. | |
| Cons:Not completly reliable, but what do you expect for the price.Only three of the five worked as lage air bubbles during manufacture stop the finger from spinning, but my 5 year old son had the rejects and has fun playing with them anyway. | |
| Other Thoughts:Hit and miss as to how many actually work, but as an inexpensive rucsac addon for the kids or non essential oreinteering, worth a punt, but dont put your life on the line for its reliability. | |
| Bottomline:Take a quality compass as backup and leave these 'stocking fillers' for the kids packs. | |

| Pros:The price is right, they are easy to read with their contrasty green/black dial & are compact & portable. They have a convenient band on the back to help facilitate fastening on to various pieces of equipment. They look very cool too! | |
| Cons:3 of the 5 we received have air bubbles in them (1 has a huge bubble) & not so much as one of ours will work, no matter how each is held. | |
| Other Thoughts:These would come in very handy for many applications where a small compass could be useful... if only any of ours worked. The manufacturer's quality control program seems to be lacking the day that these were made. | |
| Bottomline:We are sure that these can't be all bad. It's just sad that none of ours work. DTW stands by the wares they sell & we are confident that all will be well in the end. Until then: all of these should be double-checked in the future before they are sent out to customers. | |
