Pros:-it looks pretty-it is smaller than it looks on fotos-you can use as a keychain- it is light
Cons:-there is no manuel about how to use it to release static eletric , so i can not understand how it is working-build quality is not good
Other Thoughts:- somebody tell me about how can i use it :D- at first i like it and i decided to buy it so ican test it about its working but i can not use it. The screen is just staying at first smile. I touched it about something on the ground but the smile did not change- the package looks good but all the article is chinese language but images are funny :D
Bottomline:- at least good trade

Pros:* Very small, actually just the right size* No battery or other power source required* Nice LCD screen* Great concept* It simply works* Nice build quality
Cons:* No backlight, so you can't see in the dark* Very confusing to understand how simple it is to work it! Once you do though it is dead easy*
Other Thoughts:Although some people will doubt its usefulness by pointing out that you can simply discharge yourself by touching something that is grounded, this gadget offers the following two advantages:1) It reminds you to ground yourself, because you do so for the fun of the LCD coming on, so eliminates accidents by forgetting to ground yourself.2) You can actually confirm that you have discharged yourself. I surprisingly found out that a few metal bars in my house where NOT grounded while i thought they were (i would have kept the charge and release it on a piece of unfortunate electronic).
Bottomline:Buy one at least!

Excellent, useful device

Pros:I am very glad I found this little device. My couches generate A LOT of static and in a dry climate it is almost impossible to avoid getting shocked. I was especially worried about my electronics but I just hated having to ground myself before touching them a usually getting shocked in the process. With this thing you just touch the button part and then press the black rubber end against something conductive like a metal door frame, faucet, etc and you're cleared.
Cons:None
Other Thoughts:Even better is being able to remove all static before entering your car. This happens at least a few times a week where I live in the winter and sometimes it hurts. I was amazed that the first time I used it there was a visible spark. Another excellent use is to ground yourself before working on computer if you don't have static wrist strap. Sure, you can ground yourself out by touching the computer case but this can involve getting zapped first. After you've removed the static then you can grab the case and stay grounded
Bottomline:If you live in a dry environment with a lot of static or work with electronics, get one! Actally, get several, they are worth it!

Pros:Great sturdy little item. Survived multiple drops and it is still okay.Never got shocked since I got this little thing.
Cons:Not really clear from the packaging how to use this but once you get it to work it's a no brainer.
Other Thoughts:basically the smilie on the display is permanent and only thing that "comes up" on the lcd are short lightning bolts 93 of them) above the eyes and my kids tell me that a mouth also show up. All these of course only when you discharge through the device. You have to be touching the button-like part and touch a grounded conductive material (faucet, metal post, plumbing, PC case, etc.) with the rubber tip of the device. You will then see the display I described and you may actually see some spark between the device and the metal you are touching it with.
Bottomline:I will be getting 3 more of these soon for every member of our family before winter.!ako
