Pros:Its build quality is good. Nice and simple. Seems to be accurate for the purpose. Does what is it supposed to do.
Cons:Has Chinese characters for the safe temperatures for different kinds of foods. Not a big deal, but would be nice to have English. Markings are somewhat too small.
Other Thoughts:I like the -30 Celsius range. Useful as a general outdoor thermometer too.
Bottomline:Overall a good buy. I need this sentence to meet the 500 characters mark. It's a thermometer. It does not need 500 characters to review it.

Reliable thermometer and a great price!

Pros:+ Build quality is excellent.+ Lightweight and has a hook on the top if you wish to hang inside your refridgerator or storage facility to measure the temperature. + Temperature reading seems quite stable and roughly accurate but don't expect perfect readings
Cons:- Does not have scale for standard (Fahrenheit) but its not so hard to convert to metric
Other Thoughts:Screen does get a little foggy inside when you put it in the refridgerator but tha'ts too be expected. Have yet to test this in the freezer or to measure temperatures on liquids.
Bottomline:Impressive little device that allows you to get rough temperature readings. Recommended especially for the price.

inexpensive way to assure food safety

Pros:While this device is not as nifty-cool as others you will find on dealtoworlde, it has a straightforward, practical purpose: to make sure the food in your freezer or refrigerator is kept at a safe temperature, without going overboard and keeping it too cold (thus wasting money and energy).
Cons:It's not clear to me that the clip (which was not obvious in its design) will be able to withstand prolonged freezing temperatures without getting brittle and cracking. Also, I'm not sure how accurate the thermometer really is.
Other Thoughts:While this reads in Celsius, we Americans should just suck it up and do a little arithmetic. I did, and the temperature range indicated on the thermometer for refrigerator safety (between 4 and 0 C) and for freezer safety (below -18 C) matches what I read from various university cooperative sites.
Bottomline:Keep your food safe without going overboard on energy costs, all for a couple of bucks. What more could you ask for?

Nice Thermometer!

Pros:Very Small.Scale is very clear.Comes in Celcius degrees scale.Very unexpensive
Cons:Took a while in figuring out how to hang it.Should come with a magnet or adhesive band to stick it on the freezer/fridge door.
Other Thoughts:I bought it since I thought it was a very original gadget. And because it was unexpensive.I expent some time thinking how to attach or hang it. Finally I left it hanging on one of the fridge shelves, one that comes with small bars. And it did the trick. It is normal that it would become foggy when you open the door since the humidity will condense on the surface.
Bottomline:Very nice toy for the price. Help you see what's the real temperature inside your fridge. I do not have it on my freezer. Just the refrigerator.

Nice little piece of utility

Pros:-I live in Europe, so that Celsius degree is nice(I am not used to converting from Fahrenheit).-Very accurate.-Tells you the operating temperatures for fridge and freezer.-Well built, small, and stylish.-Good protective plastics, and good plastics in general.
Cons:-I really do not like those Chinese characters.-Maybe a little bit too small for some users.
Other Thoughts:
Bottomline:I would recommend this item to non-US buyers. It's small, accurate, well designed.Worth the money ( Just a saying, it's only two bucks ) .
