Pros:Look, act, and feel like high quality batteries.I've had no trouble with those I bought, and they seem comparable to the best brands, though I haven't compared to aw.The price is pretty darn incredible considering what you get.
Cons:Can't really think of any. For now, these are the only 18650's I will buy.
Other Thoughts:Jeez, folks, what does it say when the battery's own manufacturer basically admits they fudge the description of everything else they sell?"This time we really mean it."Why not just give all these batteries honest ratings and say they all are true?
Bottomline:Good batteries. Keep up the truth in advertising!

Best Trustfire around here.

Pros:The blue Trustfire 18650 was used to be the most value for money but the quality has since dropped after the price drop leaving this black and red the choice to have. Capacity is rather close to 2400mAh with 1A discharge. Handles 3A discharge pretty well too.
Cons:The shrink wrap workmanship is rather poor. There is small protruding near the base of the protection circuit and user ought be be careful that it did not pierce through the wrapper and causing s short.
Other Thoughts:These are the next best of the protected 18650 around here. Forget about the blue ones as their quality is dropping after their price drop. I did notice the price of these has drop too and hopefully not the quality.
Bottomline:Buy these and you chances of having a bad cells is so much less. I have bought a total of 8 cells of these and all of them are pretty consistent.

Better than all the rest here on DX!

Pros:+the best 18650 cells available on DTW at the moment+high discharge rate/low resistance+high capacity (advertised as true 2400mAh)+protection circuit (untested)
Cons:-soft metal on negative side (covering PCB) - spring in tailcap leave round mark-tab buldges from side a little-slightly long and slightly wide, 16340s by definition should be 16mm (wide) by 34mm (long) making them a tight fit in most flashlights and chargers-not the cheapest cells available
Other Thoughts:Shipped with 3.82v and 3.79v charge. Fits well in http://www.dealtoworlde.com/details.DTW/sku.0936 (slightly tight because of the extra length) - see my charger review
Bottomline:These are the only 18650s to buy from DTW. Don't waste your money on the others (sku.5790 are absolute garbage compared to these). Performance is almost up there with the unprotected high quality cells I salvaged from a laptop battery pack. Buy these cells for your high power applications like flashlights.

Works well

Pros:These batteries are awsome for flshlights. High volt plus a long runtime enables you to power your flashlights for a really long time and receieve a big result for your money. Build qualit is good and the price is not so bad either considering that its rechargable.
Cons:I hear claims that protected cells are longer but i bought lights where people rated that the light will not work with protected cells yet, these batteries never caused a problem and they are almost the length of a non protected cells.
Other Thoughts:Will work perfectly with any light that requires them and will give a large output.
Bottomline:definitely worth the price to this day i had charged them once and the batteries are still going strong.

Pros:It's true-rated at 2400mAh. Lasts a long time with my Ultrafire flashlights that uses these type of batteries. Quality build and protection circuit works. Fits the Soshine chargers.
Cons:Does NOT fit my Surefire 6Z combatlight that has an R2 drop-in module, unfortunately. probably due to the protection strip. I didn't force it anymore, as it might damage the batteries.
Other Thoughts:I hope they make these protected 18650 in a universal size, so that it can fit the original Surefire lights. It's too thick. But overall I'm satisfied with its performance. Been using it for a while now, and operating times are still the same.
Bottomline:Get it if you need these type of batteries!
