Pros:- It's a really nice for a fun gift. People act suprised.. eh what is this? And can't believe the frog will change into a prince.- Works as stated.
Cons:- A prince will never go back to a frog :(..- Could be cheaper.
Other Thoughts:- Stay with the frog when you put water in it..! Before you know it you have a prince and you didn't even see it.- Change te water to see how the prince is growing.- It took like a week to grow into a full prince instead of 72 hours.
Bottomline:Nice for a gift..but not really useful

Pros:I got a couple of these for the novelty purposes. They came bubble wrapped but no actual packaging. Just the plastic egg wrapped with bubble wrap. I was a little worried the shell might be cracked but I was wrong. EVERYTHING arrived in perfect condition. I was expecting a few one eyed frogs due to reading other reviews but fortunately my frogs were not inbred ;-)
Cons:Manufacturer could maybe use a little box to put these guys into versus just mailing the product without packaging? No biggie though.
Other Thoughts:Putting water into the shell makes the froggie "carbonate" very slowly - it's cool watching him slowly dissipate! Like a very slow death. Prince took about 3 days to fully reach its maximum size.
Bottomline:Well worth the few bucks.

Pros:I gave this to my friend as a gift. She's having boy troubles so it seemed appropriate - she laughed, I laughed, it did it's job. And that was before adding water. Mine came looking exactly like the ones in the pictures, instructions are readable, and the whole package is just really cute. The hatch at the top opened easily and it's nice that you get the container to dissolve/grow it in.
Cons:I wish it were a bit cheaper, since it's just a silly plastic toy, but it really was worth it in this instance.
Other Thoughts:I liked the creativity that went into designing this toy, and the fact that it incorporates both a disappearing frog and a grow-your-own prince in a compact package. Both the frog and the 'egg' were bigger than I expected.
Bottomline:Get it for a friend who likes frogs, a friend in need of a prince charming, or a kid. Don't expect too much, but it does what it says.

One-eyed frog still cool and fun!

Pros:Its fun, has neat little tag with instructions on it.Its clever that in this photo they have him in blue so it looks like water.
Cons:Mine came with only one eye.He's actually in green and not blue so I guess that could be a lilly pad? Probably not.
Other Thoughts:Just a neat little toy, pretty fun for the price, however for the quality and randomness of this product I think the price might be a little too high.
Bottomline:If you want one and want it as a gag gift, its pretty fun, but don't be surprised if you get one that only has one eye. You could still do what I did and be crafty and paint one on it before giving it as a gag gift.

Pros:Froggy is cute and cheap. If you have a few bucks to spare and are looking for something to amuse you for awhile, this is the item to purchase.Instructions are very clear, it's impossible to mess it up.
Cons:My Froggy arrived "one-eyed". Its left eye fell off. This is quite disappointing. However, it's still quite cute (pirate froggy!!)The plastic shell also seems very dirty...dusty. Both inside and out.
Other Thoughts:I gave its usefulness rating a neutral because it is, obviously, useless, however, it serves its purpose to entertain and amuse.I think this could be a very nice stocking stuffer or loot bag stuffer, cute and cheap but looks like it's worth more than what you paid for.Kids will love this!
Bottomline:Get this for yourself or as gifts for kids. However, hopefully you won't receive an "one-eyed" frog like mine.
