| Pros:It is cheapIt is able to output stereo sound and stereo mic.Works perfectly under linux (snd-usb-audio, 0c76:1607) | |
| Cons:There is no external volume control, but you have more expensive devices with it. | |
| Other Thoughts:I put this device on my NAS server.I plugged a stereo amplifier on the output. Now it is a jukebox. From the linux driver you have a software volume control + AGC to adjust sound volume. Useless control if you put an external amplifier, useful if you put headphones. | |
| Bottomline:Perfect for what it is, this can be useful for embedded devices on which you want to put sound. Be aware that there is no amplifier, you must put one to have correct sound output. Otherwise put headphones... | |
Great for the Price |

| Pros:It is not a bad little sound card, and it is dirt cheap. Can be useful if you need a soundcard and don't won't to dish out a lot of money. It is tiny as well. | |
| Cons:This device only support mono input. It is not in any way a top-of-the-line soundcard. | |
| Other Thoughts:This device can be very useful to have around. You never know when it will come in handy. You may have a random sound card failure, or maybe you will just need an extra for audio multitasking stuff, like digitizing your old media while talking on Skype or something. | |
| Bottomline:A cheap soundcard that is great for simple tasks. | |

| Pros:It really makes difference comparing to the default sound in your computer. It feels deeper, with more contrast between the instruments and some musics seems much more alive. However in some poor quality songs or old tunes with bad recording, it doesn't make any difference. In some games that suport 3D sound it also gives some difference, but in simple games such as puzzle or strategy there's no change. | |
| Cons:It's not very big, it's actually small, but is wider than the usb port, so you can't use the usb right next to the port that you put this adapter. The microphone input is also mono and just useful for conversation, you can't use to record anything with quality. | |
| Other Thoughts:This thing should come with every computer... so don't wait to buy one. | |
| Bottomline:Great deal. | |
nice little device |

| Pros:Nice device does what it says also plays midi files which is a plus if you like to play w that stuff for about three bucks cant really complain | |
| Cons:The left and right channels are reversed nothin too bad just flip around your speakers/headphones problem fixed was able to take unit apart with my nails so build quality is ok..dab some super glue around it and your good | |
| Other Thoughts:Workr on win xp with usb 1 and works on win 7 with usa 2 havent tested the mic input though I suspect mono and fairly ok quality this is just assuming let me know if you have tested this | |
| Bottomline:Why not buy its only three bucks worth a try..ive got four more of different flavors coming in just to see if theres any noticable difference between them | |

| Pros:It’s really small, and fits easily in your USB port.It works with macs, without drivers or other crap. Just enter sound preferences, and select usb soundcard.I did a blind test, and I can’t hear any quality loss.I use it in a usb hub, for my laptop. That way I only have to connect the power, and the usb hub, when I "dock" it at my desk. Then the usb hub takes care of mouse, keyboard, driver, hard rives and so on.The feel is a little plastic'ish, but even after I dropped it a few times (to test it) it still works like a charm. It’s also great for PC's if you soundcard driver is broken. Cause its a lot easier to just plug this thing in. | |
| Cons:The microphone input is mono onlyUses up space for 2 usb ports if they are on top of each other | |
| Bottomline:Cheap and works well | |
