| Pros:A signal becomes strong.Realtek chip good.Build quality looks great, USB-plug fits perfect, thick USB-cable, sturdy casing, nice antenna.Good price! | |
| Cons:Explanation and the item of the different chip.I needed an extension cable to get this all the way to the location I had to place it in to get the desired connection. | |
| Other Thoughts:Realtek chip is RTL8187B.Linux drivers don't support | |
| Bottomline:It is better than the built-in antenna.Good value, strong wifi USB dongle. | |

| Pros:cheap and very easy to use, works well with wifislave, backtrak4 and wifiway | |
| Cons:under the linux environment and under win xp only connects me to 11Mbps | |
| Other Thoughts:hello, good morning, I bought a sky g wireles adapter and I can not connect at 54 mbps, always connects to 11 mbps, I have played all the parameters you have and always the same even a few centimeters of the wifi router, I have tried on a computer with usb 2.0 usb 1.oy another and always at 11Mbps.I tried wifiway, wifislave, and backtrack 4 and I always connect at 11Mbps, the instructions set: the connection B is g 11Mbps and the connection is 54 mbpsI use the G, so that is not what is happening, maybe the unit is damaged, I installed the drive that comes with the adapter using the XP setting I have on my computer win xp professional.another question is: because when I have the adapter plugged into the USB port and turn on my computer, not running xp, I have to disconnect the adptador Reinier win xp and then connect the adapter, with other target is not had this problem starting, the manufacturer may have some better driver for win xp progreetings and thanks for answering | |
| Bottomline:is perfect, but maybe my unit is broken | |
Nice |

| Pros:Can act as an AP (Realtek calls it Virtual Wifi), my main reason for buying it, and it does it's job great.Realtek chip, which means good drivers!Strong signal.Build quality looks great, USB-plug fits perfect, thick USB-cable, sturdy casing, nice antenna. | |
| Cons:Maybe the fact that it's external, but hey, you can't have everything (at least not at this price-level). | |
| Bottomline:none | |
Good value for price, perfect for wardriving |

| Pros:RT8187L chip!I pushed it up to 30dBm (the linux wireless stack wouldn't let me more, maybe the card supports it but you'll have to hack the regulatory database).Supports injection out of the box.Great for, you know, testing WEP solidity.Good price! | |
| Cons:500kB/s is the best throughput I managed to get (could be a problem with my AP, though...)The antenna it came with needed quite a bit of fiddling before I got it to work.Linux drivers don't support AP mode ATM. | |
| Bottomline:Couple this with a directional antenna, and you've got a great penetration testing tool! | |
