Keeps a Charge!

Pros:Unlike a lot of crank lights in this price range, this light actually keeps a charge. I left it on to drain, then cranked it up, then left it untouched (forgot about it) for about a month. After that long, I assumed that any power left would been gone. But to my surprise, the light came on and it was still pretty bright.
Cons:Have to remove from headband to crank.
Other Thoughts:I have a bike light of the exact same design (made by a brand name, not from DTW), but after cranking it up and leaving it off for quite a short time, the power will be gone. I suspect the power is draining back into the dynamo. A problem (a major one) that this light does not have.
Bottomline:Great backup light.

Pros:Compact, good solid crank churns out reliable power. I wanted a pocket-sized crank flashlight and also liked the headband attachment. This is exactly what I was wanting. I was worried that the tiny size would mean very low charge but I've really been surprised thus far. When cranking it really feels solid and effective unlike some cheap lights - it really holds a charge.
Cons:Headband smells like a cheap halloween mask. Whoopie-doo!
Other Thoughts:Light modes are off, 1-LED, 3-LEDs, and 3-LED Flash. Attaches to the the headmount with a solid plastic clip. Just reach up, hold the strap to your head and pull the light off to wind when necessary, then hold the clip stable and click it back into place. It's not heavy and stays where I point it on the clip.
Bottomline:This is definately something I'd consider buying again. I plan to keep this one in my glovebox. With most decent crank lights at least $10.00 even at local stores this was a surprising bargain. The pocket-size is very convenient even without the headband.
