| Pros:The image is really quite clear, and not having to focus is great. Build quality is also good - nice and solid. Haven't tested the accuracy of the markings, which are simultaneously clear and unobtrusive. I'm surprised this item doesn't have any stars yet. | |

| Other Thoughts:Maybe the magnification could be slightly higher, 7 or 8x. But 5x is already pretty good - can read a car license plate at about 130m - and is low enough that shaking is not much of an issue. I find with 10x shake becomes much more of a problem.The optics are not absolutely perfect - slightly out of focus towards the edge of the field of view - but I was surprised how good it turned out. Better optics would surely cost significantly more. | |
