| Pros:Brightest R2-bin i ever owned...It runs on AA Cells in emergency situations...good machining...perfect colour of beam...no creepy blinking modes...small and affordable... | |
| Cons:nothing found yet... | |
| Other Thoughts:People at UniqueFire had a lucky day, when assembling this lights. Unbelieveable output for "just" another R2-Pill...Where did they get this R2-batch?Hopefully the following batches are the same (you will get no info on this).Do not try whith AA´s, give them, what they are build for, 3,7 V is needed for full output.First time, that i nearly believe in Lumen-Specs... | |
| Bottomline:No problems for me with protected 14500, unprotected 14500, AA, everything fits fine. Clicky feels to be very solid...I bought two and maybe order some more...Worth every penny... | |

| Pros:Frighteningly bright with Li-ion cell.Beautiful neutral/cool tint with Li-ion cell. | |
| Cons:Tailcap must be modified (see below) to accommodate Li-ion cell.Poor output with NiMH cell.Poor colour with NiMH cell.Switches off and dims with NiMH cellNot really suitable for use with NiMH cells. | |
| Other Thoughts:Well, I couldn't resist getting some lithium rechargeables (SKU 3435, plus charger 22577) to put this thing through its paces. I am so glad I did. I can easily believe the output is around 200 lumens - it is really, really bright and with a beautiful cool white tint. The corona around the central beam is also useful now, whereas with a lower voltage cell it wasn't really noticeable. Don't bother buying this light if you plan to use it with alkaline or NiMH cells. The Black Cat AAA light (SKU 24127)is smaller and puts out a ton more light. One more thing, and this is important: the protected cells do not fit into this light. You will need to unscrew the inner tailcap, take the brass button out and file 1mm off it to make the lithium cell a perfect fit. I would not recommend simply screwing the light together hard until you have made this modification as you could damage the module, the tailcap or the cell itself. | |
| Bottomline:If you are comfortable with making a simple mechanical modification and you will definitely use lithium rechargeables, then get this light. Otherwise, don't bother! | |

| Pros:Very Bright, solid feel, small size and quite light | |
| Cons:Out of 4 lights purchased, only 2 seem to be operating properly. after 30mins consistently on, the faulty units gets very hot and then cuts out. Has also experienced the random cutting out. | |
| Bottomline:Judging by other comments, I am hoping DTW is just having some batch and QC issues, becuase these have the potential to be a fantastic light. Purchase on the understanding you may be contacting DTW for replacement, and if overseas that will be a long turnaround! | |

| Pros:Bright Bright Bright! Did I mention it's Bright. Uses readliy available AA batteries. I have not tried anything but alkaline double A, it may even be brighter with different batteries but is great light the way it is. | |
| Cons:If you want me to LOOK for something to critisize the hand strap is a little small. But in fairness to DTW I am a big guy with ape sized hands. | |
| Other Thoughts:Buy it. it's great. I have had several high quality flashlights in my job and I would say the quality of this light is very good. I accidentally dropped it on the concrete from about 5 feet. It scratched the casing but still works great. | |
| Bottomline:In my opinion a great product at a great value. I'm not saying it compares to my $150 flashlight but for the price it's great! | |

| Pros:This is a great little flashlight. I dropped in a 14500 and hit the switch, wow, it was very bright. I don't have the ability to measure output, but based upon comparison to many other lights, I believe that this outputs the full 220 lumens, as advertised. It is a great size and the beam is the perfect combination of throw and flood. Operation is simple with an easy on/off tailcap clicky. I prefer a simple 1 or 2 mode flashlight. I also have a Uniquefire S10 in silver with 6 modes, but I gave it to wife when this light arrived. Great, compact, EDC light, with plenty of power in a small, convenient package. | |
| Cons:Arrived with unlubed threads, but this was easily remedied. | |
| Other Thoughts:Great, bright, compact EDC flashlight. | |
| Bottomline:Great flashlight for the price. BUY ONE or TWO. | |
