Excellent value if you need a thrower

Pros:As many people have said this is one of the best throwers for the price. I have bought about six or seven of these for friends. Because they are such a good thrower it is very easy to impress people but I'm not so sure about the practicality of a dedicated thrower.
Cons:The biggest con with these is the variable build quality. Some will not take two rechargable 16340s without modification to the spring plunger n the tailcap. I've had to replace two drivers and had two switch resistors go so maybe they are not best suited to 8.4 volt use. Some have been glued and others not.I also find them a bit bulky.
Other Thoughts:If they are not glued they are very easy to modify using differnt drivers and forward clickies etc.The two modes are controled by a resistor in the switch which means you cannot have memory.
Bottomline:Nice deep smooth reflector. Excellent thrower. Good value.

Very nice thrower

Pros:Great thrower and even though it's of limited use as a general purpose light and probably too big, heavy and impractical for most people as a regular EDC light, it's likely a bit more usable than my personal favorite, sku.22934.Feels substantial without being heavy.
Cons:Metal chips on the inside of the lens. Multiple ugly dings on tail cap, revealing the metal underneath.
Other Thoughts:Comes with reverse clicky which must be fully depressed and then released to switch from one mode to the next, which makes this a "momentary off" light, I guess (as opposed to the usual "momentary on" tactical/forward clicky). As others have mentioned, there is no memory and there is no way to skip mid/low either ('low' is probably more accurate). So it's high-low-off every time.Tailstands if you remove the lanyard. Pretty neat in candle mode.
Bottomline:QC needs improvement but this is still a very nice light.

the best way to spend 25,51$

Pros:Focused light - very impressive beam, great range.I was afraid, that it will be heating up to much, but even after 20-30 min of working at maximum brightness the temperature is acceptable.
Cons:The reflector has some imprefections but taking the price into consideration i can turn a blind eye to it.
Other Thoughts:With a better quality reflector and a tactical rapid switch it would be a ideal flashlight.
Bottomline:If U R looking 4 a powerful and cheap light sword HS-802 will be pewfect. If U want a flashlight more for closer distances think about sku.32721

Super thrower!

Pros:+ultra bright, ultra tight hot spot - no corona and very ringy spill (although not much at all)+highly polished smooth aluminum reflector - this thing is super deep and concentrates beam for long throw+nice hefty feel (although a little top heavy due to the big head)+great build quality - think aluminum walls and good quality clicky parts+protected 18650s fit fine+deep threads and thick orings in all the right places (shipped lightly lubed)+head has cooling fins and antiroll cutouts+fully recessed clicky cover if you need a tailstander+smooth action clicky (not stiff like some others)
Cons:-no mode memory (must cycle through hi>mid>off everytime) -minor chips in finish - appear to be from handling, not manufacturing defect-virtually no spill (not really a con unless you buy this looking for flood)-head does not twist off-included strap sucks (take it off and toss it in the bin)
Other Thoughts:The hot spot is small at short distance but spreads with longer distance but maybe be too concentrated for general use. Reverse clicky but has momentary off. R2 creates nice hotspot and some spill but very ringy.Comes shipped from DTW wrapped in half popped bubble wrap. Come on DTW, at this price you couldn't pop it a cardboard box.Output measured at tailcap with single 18650 - Hi 1.1v
Bottomline:Not for general use around the house or backyard. This is a single purpose super thrower. Easily lights up targets a long way (exact distance untested). Gives new meaning to the expression "I can hit that!"

Nice thrower

Pros:Deep reflector = Good throw VS output Lo mode is still useful .Very Good build quality .Glass Lens . aluminum reflector
Cons:Output is no where close to 230 Lumen , not even close to 200 Lumen Makes me wonder about the LED and or Driver .1.28A current draw on High with 186500.63A with 2xRCR123A [ 5W current draw measured at the tail ]
Other Thoughts:Mine came with quite a few scratches on the finish , the driver LED combo is ??
Bottomline:Still , for the price it does throw well .And should be a real nice host for Hot Roding . Everything is good , except the Driver or LED , something does not add up . Bottom line , its still a keeper . No buyer remorse here !
