| Pros:nice light, more than 90 min of decent light with one fresh 18650. After 10 min of use, the light is just a little warm. | |
| Cons:Well in high mode, le current is only 1.2A which is far from the 2.8A announced. Compared to my 220 lumens Uniquefire S10, the P7 F16 is just a little brighter. I would say it is about 300 lumens. | |
| Other Thoughts:The runtime is long enough for biking. The led lifetime should be longer with that underdrive circuitry. | |
| Bottomline:If you are looking for a really bright light, this light is not what you are looking for. | |

| Pros:for it's power a small flashlight for only one 18650 Li-Ion recharable battery.For small distances very effective/usefull. | |
| Cons:Not near 900 lumen, I should say about 300-400 lumen. The current is also too low, not the current promessed but about 1.2 ampere, that also explains the lower output. The throw is not far, for nearby usethat's no problem. When equipped with a more poverfull driver, the heatdissipation can give severe problems. The technical construction of the P7emitters demands a bigger reflector to get enough throw, a multiled flashlight should be consedered, this flashlight can't be modded to get full benefit of the P7 emitter,This emitter has 4X 3 watt chips in one paquage/dome, the lightproducing areais too big for good collimationwith the applied reflector. | |
| Other Thoughts:Because the P7 gets only less than half the max. current, it propably lasts forever, the efficiency is very good.about 2 hours operating time with one 18650 2500mAH | |
| Bottomline:Inexpensive flashlight with an overkill emitter wich not even gives half of the promessed 900 lumens, becomes not overheated and 2 hours stand alone light.300-400 lumen is in most cases more than enough light. For outdoor use a reliable tool. | |

| Pros:This is one awesome little torch. Very very bright with good combined beam spread. I have used it in the New Zealand bush at night and it lights up the whole forest. I have taken it out in my boat night fishing and have hooked it up to a home made mount. It floods my whold boat deck. | |
| Cons:Nun that I can as its so beautifully made and finished. | |
| Other Thoughts:Just wish this model was suitable as a divers light with 100m water depth rating.Deal Extreme would sell heaps of them. | |
| Bottomline:Great value for money. You need to have one of these. | |

| Pros:Extremely bright, this was able to really light up the trees at the end of a 100ft backyard. Absolutely blows away the Cree XR-E P4 light I have. Build quality is extremely solid, flashlight has nice weight to it and does not feel cheap at all. Clickie switch feels solid. Black finish is excellent. | |
| Cons:No memory on the modes. Strobe feature is very bright but not very useful and being in a rescue squad, I would be worried using this light around somebody who has epilepsy. This wouldn't be an issue if it had mode memory. | |
| Other Thoughts:Current draw measured 300mA on low, 1800mA on high, and 1250mA on strobe with a fresh Trustfire 2500mAh protected 18650. Did notice some flickering on high but taking the head off and making sure the pill was securely screwed into the body fixed it. Also lubricated the threads as both the head and tail cap squeaked as they were unscrewed. | |
| Bottomline:If it was 2-mode(high/low) or 3+ mode w/ memory, it would be perfect. Still, you can't go wrong with this light. It's the brightest LED light I have ever used or seen and well worth the money. | |
