Pros:Bright torch. Seems to be very efficient (very little heat is produced). Does not seem overdriven when using 18650. Not too throwy (I have a thrower for WOW factor but it is not as useful as this). Memory works very well. Thick lens, solid body. Hope it will last a long time.
Cons:Medium mode too weak and low mode too bright (They are almost the same to me). Does not fit my pocket. - Blinking modes.- Did I mention useless (to me) blinking modes?
Other Thoughts:I never needed it, but I still like it a lot.O ring is placed behind the lens.
Bottomline:Very nice but not perfect.

Worth the money....

Pros:Very solid. After you have managed to center the glass and the o-ring... Not a thrower, but nice overall beam... Works fine whith protected 18650. Fits in your pocket.
Cons:Glass lens is 1-2mm to small for perfect fit. Also some work whith the dropin. You should ad some thermal grease for perfect fit.
Other Thoughts:The build quality and machinig are impressing for the price. Whith some more efforts in perfect fit of the lens and the o-ring this might be a bestseller. There is much headroom for mod´s at all....
Bottomline:I would strongly recommend this product if you are searching something whith more "beam" than pricely compareable P7 flashlights. And after you have managed to center oring and glass lens, fixed it whith the bezel, never open it again on the frontside... This is a good deal...

Balanced, Bright, and, umm, Pretty Sweet

Pros:- Very bright- Nice white light- Excellent balance of flood/throw- Looks nice- Decent battery life- Good shape; fits nicely in pocket (no clunky head, etc) - Unique look- Solid overall construction (with minor flaws, see cons)- Memory works!
Cons:- O-ring & lens are undersized; pain to get back in place- Unique look - Useless modes (especially SOS, which, while always pretty annoying, is just non functional in this one; each dot/dash lasts several seconds, and the delay until the next one is wayyy too long)- Probably a bit too throwy to work well as a primary bike light- Rubber rings on the outside can get in the way of some clips
Other Thoughts:Overall I'm very happy with this light. Unlike a lot of reviewers, I don't have any problems with the assault bezel; if anything, it makes me a little more confident in its ability to womp someone over the head if need be. While I think it looks great, some people might be turned off by the multi-color thing (particularly the orange clicky). Regarding the SOS function, it takes it over 15 seconds just to signal the "O" (- - -), so I hope I never have to signal a plane as it zooms by overhead! I tend to use flashlights frequently for short periods of time and I charge the batteries after a few days -- using it like that, I've never had a dead battery.
Bottomline:Seriously, though, after replacing the o-ring and lens, this flashlight is perfect for me. Floody enough to use in tight spaces but it out-throws most other lights that aren't built solely for distance. Although I haven't taken any solid measurements, to my eye, this is brighter than my SSC P-7 light (at least in terms of hotspot) and throws many times further. Although I'm glad to say I've never had to whack anyone on the head with it, I did use it to blind a fellow to popped out at me from an alleyway and it worked brilliantly, giving me enough time to either thwack him on the forehead or run away (I chose the latter). Overall, this is a great light. It's relatively inexpensive, and even better, it can fill many different roles as well or better than more expensive, purpose built flashlights. Of course, it won't do EVERYTHING, but it does more than any other light I have. Buy it!

A handsome P60 host with up-to-date emitter combo

Pros:P60 host, good looking(though we know where it from), excellent value, no PWM effect on low mode, smooth reflector for maximum efficiency, feel solid in hand, takes 18650 cell.
Cons:Too many modes, no clip, tailcap switch inside looks cheap, sharp bezel crown(after deburr it is OK)
Other Thoughts:I pulled the trigger after reading reviews from the other buyers and wow, it shots better than I expected. Though the hotspot is not brighter than XRE R2, its round shape looks like a moon face with no donut ring and it covers wider area if you use it within 50 feet. Surprisingly the driver is very good with no flickering in med/low mode. The bezel seems made of aluminum but that's how we get this good looking torch with acceptable price but who cares?
Bottomline:If you own P60 host, buy it. If you own XPE Q5/R2, get one for comparison. Note that this light is NOT a thrower, just like most other branded lights with XPE/XPG emitters but I'd say maybe 70% as bright as XRE R2/Q5. But come on. It's a P60 host. Get one before sold out.

Doesn't live up to the hype! Still a good torch

Pros:+very bright, nice hotspot/corona and great spill (XPG-R5 see below)+good machining, thick aluminum throughout body+deep and smooth threads, square threads are solid+mode memory works+orings in all the right places+fits protected cells+lightweight with solid feel+rubber body rings make for comfortable and firm cigar grip+P60 host
Cons:-glass and oring in head are slightly small, unacceptable at this price point-tailcap has darker finish than body, unacceptable at this price point-plastic retainer ring in tailcap-dirty emitter dome and lens needed to be cleaned-dirty threads needed to be cleaned-dry threads and orings-rough edges on assault bezel/ring-nicks and scratches on body down to bare metal, appears to be handling issue not caused by poor manufacturing-squeeky/sticky switch
Other Thoughts:XPG-R5 big hotspot (bigger but not as bright as XPE-R2) and nice corona (compared to XPE-R2 that produces a blank donut around the hotspot). Comes with a reverse clicky. Shipped from DTW wrapped in half popped BUBBLE WRAP - Come on DTW, at this price you couldn't pop it a cardboard box. Fits perfectly in sku.3701 holster. Current draw measured at tailcap Hi-0.90A, Mid-0.15A, Lo-0.05A
Bottomline:With all the hype surrounding this light it just comes up short. The XPG-R5 emitter make a good light out of an otherwise just decent one. Too many flaws for this to be a great light.
