Good budget lighting |

| Pros:- Does its job- Uses common batteries (3xAAA)- Modes with 3 levels of brightness and flashing mode- Cheap- Easy to switch modes | |
| Cons:- Bit worried that it will fall off like my previous similar light (mind you, I stacked the bike and that was the only reason the light fell off)- Not sure how it will cope with rain | |
| Other Thoughts:Obviously, you should not be expecting something to act as a lighting source but more as a indicator to others of your presence. You can point the light down a little and have about a 1m by 1m area of good visibility. | |
| Bottomline:Great for riding around town in the night where there is lighting already however I have no issues riding 30km/h on rural roads that I have moderate familiarity with. | |

| Pros:I put two of these on my Electric Bicycle which does 40mph. The Bike has a Crystalite 5303 Hub motor and 52v Lithium Batteries. They light up the streets perfect at night. Maybe not as bright as these $100-$200 HID kits but I paid $15...Cant beat that | |
| Cons:Nothing so far. Just make sure you buy Rechargeables for it. | |
| Bottomline:Great LED Bike lights and the best price around. | |

| Bottomline:For this price you cant go wrong with it. | |

| Pros:Pretty decent handlebar mounting system (for something this cheap). Easy switch action, with 4 modes (low, medium, high, flashing). Uses 3 AAA batteries. | |
| Cons:Not bright enough to illuminate your path at all. Higher modes give a bit more spill, but almost no more brightness. | |
| Other Thoughts:This housing with a cree would really be useful! | |
| Bottomline:Really only useful to enhance your visibility to others (NOT useful to illuminate your path), so the flashing mode is really the only useful one. Had I known, I would have just bought a clear LED flasher like SKU 5835. | |
Just not that bright |

| Pros:Helps a bike be seen.A LOT less expensive than if purchased at a bike shop.Common battery size (3xAAA) | |
| Cons:Just not bright enough to really light a trail satisfactorily for me. | |
| Other Thoughts:When it first came out, this was probably a decent use of LED technology. Now, it's affordable, but just not that bright. I was hoping this would be usable for mountain biking on easier trails (e.g. fire roads), but I wouldn't want to use it even for that. It might be a great idea for a child's bike to make them more visible, but it's not bright enough to really light your way very much. I think one would be better off grabbing a more modern Cree or Seoul flashlight and putting it in a mount.VERY glad I tried it through DTW and didn't pay the hyped up prices at a local store selling a similar item! | |
| Bottomline:Probably great on a kids bike, or to help your bike be seen, but wouldn't count on it for riding trails at night. | |
