Pros:I looked for one of these cables for a couple of months after I bought my HTC magic. There were several places on eBay that offered the same type of products but when you counted shipping and the cost it was double what DTW selling them for. The cable works perfectly for charging, headphones and syncing to my computer. This was an essential Accessory since the standard HTC battery doesn't really last long when using the high-speed Internet and GPS
Cons:there are no cons whatsoever
Bottomline:bottom line is that every HTC owner should have one of these

Performs well

Pros:Build quality is good, connectors are firm and fit tightly. The short cord is sturdy but somewhat flexible. It has the HTC brand on it, and a little RED LED that comes on. Data transfers and syncup work fine, HTC branded OEM headphones that came with my phone work fine too, and at the same time.
Cons:The 'headphone' marked jack is the HTC ext-usb shape, but the 'USB' marked jack is a standard mini USB jack shape. What this means is, you cannot use the OEM HTC charging/data cable to sync or charge, even thought that cable WILL fit into the 'headphone' jack, it won't charge or sync in that port.
Other Thoughts:This is a solid accessory for the price. I wouldn't be surprised if its actually genuine from how it feels. The lack of a 3.5" jack, and the somewhat silly lack of ext-usb shaped ports for *both* functions is just something to be aware of though.
Bottomline:If you don't have an OEM break out adapter/box then this is good for you to use the HTC ext-usb headphones, and to charge/sync through the regular mini USB port. This makes a good replacement or spare.
