Very good beam, high runtime, aceptable power |

| Pros:+ Very good anodizing. No scratches. Gray gunmetal color. + No machining flaws+ Veeeery clean and smooth threads (also are anodized)+ Good and reliable switch+ Glass lens+ Metal reflector (orange peel)+ Sturdy clip+ Minimum weight. Same as Black Cat, or even a bit less+ Driver not epoxied (replaceable if you get a 10mm one)+ Tailcap rubber cap bigger than should be, but avoids accidental power on+ LED is Q2 or better + Accepts alkalines/nimh/10440 (protected ones, also)+ Insane output with 10440. Aceptable with ni-mh/alkalines+ PERFECT beam with a LOT of USABLE SPILL (one of the best beams I have seen)+ Low amp draw for long runtimes (0,8A NiMh)+ Reverse clickie switch (easy replaceable) | |
| Cons:- Threads not lubed (but high quality, are anodized)- Not much power output with AAA (half lumens than Black Cat).- Needs 10440 to get full power (about 140 lumens and not decreasing fast... maintains it)- Lack of o-rings: 1 on frontal glass, 1 on battery tube, 1 on tailcap- Only 1 mode. Heats up on 10440- Expensive for what it offers. There are other AAA multimode flashlights that cost less.- Only draws 0,8A from Ni-mh (not much power output but more runtime)- On 10440 draws 1,0A (no regulation = heats up and only about 30 minutes runtime) | |
| Other Thoughts:The AAA version of the best seller Akoray is probably the best AAA on DTW, if we lookinto the price, weight and quality of beam produced, even looking the machining quality.Probably weights less than the succesfull Black cat, but has half lumens than the BC. However, using it with 10440 solves the problem, because you get a pocket rocket.A multimode version of this would be perfect! | |
| Bottomline:If you want a minimun weight, high quality machining and perfect beam, this is your flashlight in the AAA segment. Is the typical Akoray K-106 but with AAA batteries and only 1 mode. Perfect for EDC, despite its a bit low power on NiMh, but very HIGH power with 10440.What are you waiting for? BUY IT NOW! | |

| Pros:I just got this light yesterday and I am very impressed with it so far. Its a little bit brighter than the "Black Cat" CREE light, which is also powered by a AAA or 10440. | |
| Cons:It gets rather warm with extended use. | |
| Other Thoughts:While it is very nice that it has a pocket clip, I do wonder how long it will stay sturdy. Clips onto my uniform pen/knife areas perfectly. | |
| Bottomline:I would recommend this light to anyone looking for a very bright 10440 or AAA flashlight. It will make a nice tactical flashlight. | |
OK, but overhyped |

| Pros:-clicky switch (not to common on 1xAAA sized lights)-Q4 LED w/deep reflector, behind a glass lens (as opposed to Gerber Infinity, Fenix E01, etc)-*very* lightweight-acceptable build quality-sturdy pocket clip-can use either 10440s for insane output (from such a small light), or AAAs for convenience and still decent light output. | |
| Cons:-not really seeing the fabled Akoray quality. thread quality is very overhyped. yes theyre squared threads, but with a lot of play so the light looks 'bent' when the lens section is screwed on. lettering on the light is much cheesier than the Ultrafire lights. -the rear clicky switch is a smooth orange color instead of the textured black that the pictures show. -missing THREE out of four o-rings. there should be two on the part the lens screws onto, one on the tailcap, and one behind the glass lens. it came with only one. as such, the light is most certainly NOT waterproof unless you replace the missing o-rings. this might prove difficult, however, since DTW does not seem to stock 12.5mm o-rings. -anodizing is somewhat 'soft', definitely not HA-III | |
| Other Thoughts:if light output is your primary criteria then you will be happy with this light. if build quality is high on your list, then the build quality of this light falls very short of lights such as the Fenix E01 (which DTW also sells) or even the Ultrafire C3, 602C, etc. | |
| Bottomline:Cons aside, this light is still a good value - youre still getting a very high output machined aluminum flashlight with a clicky switch for a very low price. ...but this is far from 'the best small flashlight on DTW'. | |
Great look and feel |

| Pros:-well built-clean machining-anodising without visible flaws-clicky (not common on AAA lights) | |
| Cons:-not so bright (although 130 lumen rating, with a single AAA sku.26989 is brighter)-could be smaller-does not tailstand | |
| Other Thoughts:I purchased this light after reading quite a few recommendations and was not disappointed by the build nor the feel of this light. Had it been brighter and came with a lanyard I would have liked it even more. It is not bright with a single AAA so I imagine you would need a 10440 to get anywhere near 130 lumens out of this light. | |
| Bottomline:Mine fell victim to a friends affection and has since passed on from my ownership. I bought this light with sku.26989 and prefered the other light. But this is a great light all the same. | |

| Pros:- SUPER bright really 130 limen on 10440.- Very efficent- Very usefull- LIGHT and small- clip: you can hold it as a Pen- Resistant (i droped it many times, no damage at all)- Water-prof | |
| Cons:Battery life is less than 30 min on 10440 protected. It was good a 2 mode version for a battery life of 1-2 hours but it is a dream. | |
| Other Thoughts:COMPARED TO THE sku.15644This one (23994) is...BrighterLighterCheaperReally water-proof | |
| Bottomline:THE BEST SMALL FLASHLIGHT EVER SEEN!!!DONT BUY IT OR IT WILL GOES OUT OF STOCK AND I CAN'T BUY IT =P | |
