| Pros:Great mini color camera for the price. Image quality is very acceptable for such a low price camera. Does not require a lot of light and has very good image when used outised in sunlight. | |
| Cons:Some video noise can be seen in the image but it is acceptable. The little plastic box which contains the regulator will get quite hot when powered by 12 volts power supply. Works just fine using a 6 volts power supply. | |
| Other Thoughts:The microphone is more sensitive than I tought it would be. | |
| Bottomline:Very good camera for the price. I compared it to locally sold $60 cameras and couldnt see any difference. | |
Excellent for the price, OK overall |

| Pros:The camera is compact, good enough color output for a security cam and works with a range of voltages, and will output a signal up to 628x582 | |
| Cons:Two important cons: It's not very sensitive to IR light, compared to better cameras. The video is grainier, and has some distinct block patterns.Lesser cons:Lens could/should be wider. The "IR LEDs" are either dummies or not connected.Doesn't come with power supply. | |
| Other Thoughts:Compared to a $50 security camera I had lying around, the video quality, and IR sensitivity is much lower. However, for the price, you can put in 3 of these instead, and still have enough left over to buy separate IR lights for them all. | |
| Bottomline:OK for what it is, great for the price. | |

| Pros:I live in Australia (PAL system) and bought this just to see if it would work. A simple change in whatever video program you have from PAL to NTSC and you'll have a picture. It's not too bad, but just a bit grainy. | |
| Cons:I think the RCA plugs should have been male and not female. That's according to everything that I have to plug it into.Cable gets quite hot. | |
| Other Thoughts:Works well from 8 volts to 12 volts. The IR leds are plastic dummy pieces, however, the circuit board does have solder points for the leds (you can buy them from DTW) but I haven't tested any with this camera.ORYou can buy something like sku 31582 ($3.84), which has 35 IR leds, runs off 12v and will light up the night quite nicely. | |
| Bottomline:If you want a plain jane camera then this is cheap enough. If you want a cheap webcam then this is good enough. If you want a cheap camera for daylight surveillance then this is excellent value. If you want a day/night surveillance camera then spend a bit more and get one with at least 12 IR leds inbuilt.SUMMARY-------I reckon it's well worth the $12.97. | |

| Pros:- Small - easy to install, comes with a mounting bracket (although it is hard to access the screw holes)- great image quality (for a spy cam).- the price is unbelievable! - great for DIY home/work surveillance- image resolution is better than the actual pinhole model cameras. | |
| Cons:- would be better if it came black, so it would be easier to conceal, however you can always spray some spray paint over it (cover the lens). | |
| Other Thoughts:- infrared version with at least a 15-20meter range would be great | |
| Bottomline:I will be buying more of these, no question. | |
Superb value for money |

| Pros:Very cheap, very easy to use..CCD quality, comparable to my more expensive sony CCD, works well in low light..Specification is provided. | |
| Cons:Quite hot, not sure if this is normalIR is a faked plasticLens angle not wide enoughNo power adaptor includedConstruction is quite ordinary, definitely not waterproof | |
| Other Thoughts:=======================================================Wish to be able to specfic the lens angle..Wish to have power supply included======================================================= | |
| Bottomline:Good for general purposes..Do take note of the max current, which is 200MA | |
