Great Item, Does what it Should Easily

Pros:Needed a tachometer to set/test different components on a motorcycle after the onboard tacho cable seized.Bought this unit to see if it would get me out of trouble.Worked straight out of the case (after adding a battery)and was so easy I did not even have to look at the instructions!All you need to do is cut of a piece of the reflective tape,The bit I used was only 1cm square(it comes with heaps of tape)and stick it on the outside of the flywheel.Get a comfortable distance (about 30cm for me)and hit the button(Test).A laser beam about 1cm wide projects out the front and you just aim this at your reflective tape for a quick and what seems so far as a fairly accurate measure of revs per min (if the engine will start!!).
Cons:I have none.
Other Thoughts:Essential tool for the toolbox.I am amazed at the tools we have now,My dad would have loved this!
Bottomline:The amount of trouble-shooting I do on motors means this thing paid for itself before it even arrived.I have other ways to measure revs with other instruments but my problem has been the bikes are either 6V or 12V and my instruments are all 12V.Because of the nature of this item I dont have to worry about this anymore.
