Pros:This servo is pretty small, it works well, the rotating angle could be greater, but it is OK in comparision to other servos. the cable length is appoximately 20cm, so it is long enough for many applications. I think the cable should be better secured against the evulsion. The price is also good, but I think it could be cheaper. The power is strong enough. I am going to use this servo in my wooden ship model to drive the helm.
Cons:The gearing could be metalic, not plastic. That is all...
Other Thoughts:none
Bottomline:Small servo for small models.

great servo

Pros:cheap and good servo. all the servo swapping i used to do before has come to and end. whenever i build something new i just brake out a new set of servos leawing all my models serviceable.
Cons:none so far, they work fine for me.
Other Thoughts:why didn't i get even more of them. seems it will always be something new i would like to build. so far i have put them into a mig 29 thrustwectoring plane, a puddlemaster flying boat and now into a blu-baby for my daughter.
Bottomline:this goes into all my depron builds. i would hesitate a bit before putting it into my trex 450, after all its just a 5 dollar servo. it is probably no reason for it but in my trex i want to be shure. better safe than sorry...

Work just fine. Nice price.

Pros:Cheap price.Work just fine and are fast.Perfect for small planes.Long servo wire.Comes with a variety of servo arms.
Cons:None really.
Other Thoughts:These are similar to the mystery servos. The wire on these are a bit longer. The servo arms on these are not compatible with the mystery 9g servos for those wondering.Deal extreme sells smaller servos as well.Buy a couple. It's always good to have some extras on hand so you don't have to yank servos out of your other planes.
Bottomline:These are a good deal.

Fast, fairly precise, ideal for low torque apps.

Pros:These are OH SO CHEAP!! I was expecting problems, but they seem to run just fine! REALLY good for high speed, low torque, high precision purposes - e.g. throttle control. Come with a good range of Acetal horns, and will take most after market Servo horn sets.
Cons:A little missing in the grease department...!! Also like the MG995 these benefit from some extra wire anchoring with hot melt glue, and light oil on the gear shafts. The acetal gears are OK with white lithium, or fishing reel grease.
Other Thoughts:As usual the TowerPro brand seems to attract all the bad RC reviews, but in practice these are really quite OK servos, and for the price you can afford to have a few spares in the field box. Ideal as primary control servos in the smaller planes (part fliers), or as throttle servos in the bigger ones.
Bottomline:Provided you are prepared to check and maybe adjust / modify / lubricate before use (and it you fly RC you should be doing this no matter whose servos you use!) these will provide the performance required, for LIGHT to MEDIUM torque applications. A definite GOOD BUY!

Perfect little servo for all your micro/mini model

Pros:+ Oh so cheap! Buy 5 as the bulkrate makes it the same price as if you bought 4+ Clear lets you know if a gear is broken later on.+ Blue is a classy color, but if you don't like it you can paint over it to make it whatever color you like.+ Included control horns and screws are useful too.+ Length on the servo wire is above average for a micro servo.+ Very fast, with very little overshoot. I would say they are at least as fast as any other non-brushless servo.
Cons:- Was very oily out of the bag- One of them had no grease inside the gears.
Other Thoughts:Wow, these are fast. They also overshoot very little, compared with other servos that I have used. Overshoot is what you call when the servo goes too far, and then has to come back a little bit to get to the real position. These maybe overshoot 1-2mm.Also, I like blue. So I left them as is. However, some guys don't like that and they paint them black... I don't recommend that, as you will never get the paint to stick very well. plus, how can you see when a gear is stripped?
Bottomline:Buy it if you need a little servo for a micro or mini model you have. I am going to make a Mugi out of these.
